Free tickets to see author Cheryl Strayed next month in Wenatchee are now available!
The author of Wild will speak April 13 at the Numerica Performing Arts Center. To get your tickets, go to numericapac.org or call the box office at 663-2787. You can also get tickets in person at the box office.
When tickets to the main auditorium are gone, the PAC will begin offering tickets to our live-stream overflow room which will be right next door in the
convention center. Everyone who attends the event will have the opportunity to meet Cheryl and have her sign a book, no matter where they sit in either
space.
For those of you up north who can’t make the drive to Wenatchee, there will be a live feed of Strayed’s talk at the Okanogan Library.
What is Columbia River Reads?
Every year we choose one book that we hope everyone in our five-county library district will read. Then we invite the author of the book to speak at the largest annual event we host.
This year, we’ve chosen Cheryl Strayed’s bestselling memoir Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail. Join us in reading the book (all
our libraries have extra copies available) and mark your calendars for her program.
Many of our libraries will be hosting outdoors-related programs this spring in support of our Columbia River Reads
initiative.
