Reimagining Spaces – Manson
Situated on Main Street in the heart of downtown Manson, the Manson Library provides access to programs for adults and children, as well as a robust collection of physical materials. The library staff regularly partner with other organizations to bring story time events and thoughtful programs to all members of the community.
The library shares the building with the Lake Chelan Reclamation District and the Manson Fire Department. Its second floor location features incredible views of the lake to the north and a cozy feel that is a welcome respite from the heat of summer and the cold of winter.
Improvements may include upgrades such as:
- New flooring and paint throughout
- Improved service point
- Updated shelving and furniture
- Improved lighting and signage
UPDATE! Our team has spent the last several months reviewing the community feedback we received from over 350 Manson residents and incorporating it into a responsive design. The current plans will allow for more private and communal seating arrangements, provide space flexibility, and maximize the incredible views of Lake Chelan. We expect the project to begin in early 2025.
Find out more about the project as a whole and how it will affect your community.
