The Curlew Library will be reopened on Saturday, December 7.
Thank you to the Curlew community for your patience during the temporary library closure for our Reimagining Spaces Project. We have been thankful to provide limited services at the Fire Station Pop Up Library but are thrilled to return to regular operations back in our library space.
The last day of service for the Pop Up Library will be Friday, November 22.
During the interim between November 22 and December 7, you can return books to the book drop at the library. You are able to update your libray account and pick up your holds at the Republic Library or have them delivered through the Mail Order Library service.
Please come visit the Curlew Library on or after December 7! We would love to show you our updated space. The redesign was informed by the Friends of the Library and the Curlew community. It includes new flooring, additional shelving, a self-check kiosk, comfy lounge seating, calming accent walls, and more!
We are looking forward to hosting a big celebration of our updated space in 2025, stay tuned for details!
The Curlew Library is a reality because of the vision, commitment, and support from the Curlew Friends of the Library. They built the library building in 2015. NCW Libraries is proud and grateful for the opportunity to further invest in Friends legacy and ongoing committment through the Reimagining Spaces Project.
