We will kick off our free Summer Library Program on June 7, offering a summer full of programs and activities for all ages at their 30 libraries, the bookmobile, and online.

Our annual summer program provides opportunities for children, teens, and adults to explore and discover all the fun resources, materials, and programs that the library offers. Programs and events are thoughtfully crafted for library users of all ages to experience the magic of books and reading, to engage in creative expression, and to connect with others through fun community centered activities.

Registration is available at all 30 library locations, the Community bookmobile, and online. Anyone who registers at an NCW Libraries’ location will receive print materials including an activity pack for children and teens and a book bingo card for adults. Participants can earn small prizes and raffle tickets for larger prizes by completing the activities.

The Summer Library Program is also available online through the Beanstack website and app. NCW Libraries uses Beanstack as their digital platform for hosting reading challenges. The online Summer Library Program mirrors the print activity packs with virtual reading and activity challenges for all ages. Online participants can earn digital badges and raffle tickets for prize drawings.

Each NCW Libraries community library location will offer their own schedule of summer events such as music, art, crafts, STEM activities, special story times, and more. Check out the events calendar for specific details and schedules.

NCW Libraries will also be offering several programs that will take place at multiple locations across the library district:
