- Summer Science Show: Our STEM staff are bringing science fun to all 30 branch libraries this summer. From launching rockets and aerospace engineering to wildlife biology and animal tracking to geology and geodes, we invite you to step off the beaten path and explore the wild world of STEM. This week they will visit Moses Lake, Tonasket, East Wenatchee, Curlew and Plain (with the Bookmobile).
2. Learn to Draw with Author/Illustrator Erik Brooks: Join Erik for a fun, free virtual program at 2 p.m. July 13. Get the Zoom link HERE.
3. Visit a Bookmobile: Our two community bookmobiles have added new stops this summer to bring library services to more people across our library district. This week catch them at the Malaga Market, Colockum Ridge Restaurant, Orondo, Plain, Inchelium, Keller, Nespelem, Aeneas Valley, and the Small Miracles lunch site in Wenatchee. 4. Learn Tahitian Dancing at Peshastin: Explore Tahitian dance and culture with dance instructor Sandy Zarate at 11 a.m. July 16 in the backyard of the Peshastin Library. She will teach more Tahitian dance classes on July 30, Aug. 6 and Aug. 20.
5. Chick Flick & Adult Coloring at Quincy: Join us for a fun afternoon of coloring while watching a chick flick at 1 p.m. July 14. All coloring supplies will be provided. This event is geared toward adults.
