Perhaps you’ve written a single poem – or many. Perhaps you’ve read only one poem – or thousands. And yet, the words resonated within you. Did you find yourself intrigued and delighted by the play of words across the page, or the sound of those same words, spoken out loud into the air? Perhaps you thought to yourself – I’d like to share this with others.
We agree – and we’d like you to share them with us!
There are as many forms and styles of poetry, voices and stories, as there are people in the world – and we welcome you to share your poetry, and your voice, with our community.
For the first time ever, Cashmere Library will be hosting a LIVE Zoom Share A Poem Night, where you can sign-up to share your poetry with others in the community.
Our Zoom Share A Poem Night will take place on Tuesday, December 14th, from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm, and will feature poems written and performed by local writers. To participate please sign-up by contacting the Cashmere Library. Call 509-782-3314 or email us at Cashmere@ncwlibraries.orgcreate new email. Each participant will be alloted 3 minutes to share their poetry with the audience.
Calling all those who appreciate and love to read poetry!
If you’re not a writer of poetry, but appreciate those who do, please show your support for our grass roots poets by joining the audience. Just sign up through our online calendar to get the link for this inspiring event! Then sit back, relax, and enjoy the evening!
